To tell the story of Yale's Environmental Leadership & Training Institute (ELTI) in a way that gave their science a human face, and was relatable for donors and supporters.
Elti had only five weeks to produce this video from start to finish. So we quickly dove into understanding their operation and worked with ELTI to identify the key messages to be communicated. From there we leveraged our international journalism contacts to rapidly set up shoots in Panama, the Philippines and Connecticut.
We translated and subtitled the Spanish and Tagalog dialogue, and storylines started to emerge. Even though the first rough cut still had big gaps for the Philippines footage in transit, ELTI Director Eva Garen and her team were able to assess the overall structure and assure us we were headed in the right direction.
